I am a teacher living in Columbus, Ohio. I live with my fiancé, Tom and our 2 cats, Albie and Willie. We are getting married on October 3rd, 2020. I completed my undergrad at The Ohio State University and received my B.S. in Special Education with a specialization in moderate to severe disabilities. In December, I graduated from Ball State University with my Master’s in Applied Behavior Analyst. I look forward to continuing my journey to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
I am in my second year full year of teaching. I work at a non-profit school that services children with autism and other developmental disabilities. My classroom has students in 4th-5th grade. They make me smile each day and each success that they have makes the challenges so worth it.
Through this blog, I hope to connect with others in the fields of special education and ABA. I truly believe that collaboration is the key to success. I also want to provide additional resources for teachers who have students in their classroom that need modifications to be able to access information. I am aware of the shortage of these modifications and how hard it can be to make them!
Thank you for joining me on this journey!
